Convotherm Receives National Restaurant Assoc. 2006 Innovation Award

March 21st, 2006

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Convotherm by Cleveland Combi Oven-Steamer has been named by the National Restaurant Association as a 2006 Kitchen Innovation Award winner. This honor is presented by the association each year to recognize the most innovative foodservice equipment products. Judging was conducted by an independent panel of industry experts comprised of foodservice operators, consultants and dealers. Winners will be featured in an exclusive interactive demonstration area during the National Restaurant Show May 20-23 in Chicago. More than 4,000 attendees visited the kitchen innovations pavilion last year.

According to NRA officials, the Convotherm by Cleveland oven was selected because of the many ways in which it streamlines and simplifies kitchen operations. The oven's Advanced Closed System +3 design automatically maintains consistent humidity levels based on the type and quantity of food being cooked. A Crisp & Tasty feature eliminates excessive moisture for a crispier product. In addition, the oven features a globally patented disappearing door that operators simply open and slide back alongside the oven.

Convotherm by Cleveland was introduced last year and is undoubtedly one of the most versatile appliances made for the American market. It unites the benefits of the world's most sophisticated ovens and steamers into one simple, foolproof oven that provides absolute operational freedom and superior food quality.
