Convotherm Wins International Design Awards for Plus 3 Combi Ovens

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- CONVOTHERM recently won two international design awards for its new Convotherm Plus 3 Combi Ovens, recognizing the innovative design and user-friendly functions of the family of products.
The Convotherm Plus 3 Combi Oven was awarded the IF Design Award 2005 by International Forum Design. Presented since 1953, the IF design award is regarded as one of the most important design competitions worldwide, attracting over 1,800 entries from 30 different countries every year. Internationally recognized jurors, consisting of designers and entrepreneurs select the winning products.
Convotherm also won the Good Design Award 2004 from The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum of Architecture and Design. Founded in 1988, the Museum is dedicated to the art of design in all areas of the discipline: architecture, industrial, and product design, graphics, and urban planning.
The Convotherm Plus 3 line includes 28 models of combi ovens suitable for use in virtually every type of foodservice application. The ovens are loaded with patented features and technologies that make them versatile, productive, and easy-to-use.
Introduced to the European market in 2004, the world premier of the new line of Convotherm Plus 3 Combi Steamers included a special event in Dusseldorf where chefs from every continent prepared exquisite dishes for invited industry and culinary trend setters. The next day, the premier continued with a public launch at the Hogatec trade show. Convotherm and Enodis worked collaboratively with key customers, top suppliers, and world-wide technical support to design the new Plus 3 oven family to meet operator needs in world markets. The oven family is designed and built on a proven, consistent technology platform, providing operators around the world with reliable, easy operation.
Convotherm and Enodis have developed an international strategy for the Plus 3 oven family, including regional production of the ovens to serve major markets.
